The game allows you to pick up a sex worker, have sex with her, then beat her up and take the money back. I think you can also run them over, if I recall correctly?
Just another way the patriarchy is trying to put women in their places. This is a non-subtle attempt to desensitize us towards violence against women by normalizing it.
Okay, yes, the game lets you do that, but it also lets you not do that. It’s never part of any missions, you’re never asked to attack a sex worker. You can kill anyone, rob anyone, and run them over if you wanted to do that.
You could also spend the whole game putting out fires and catching criminals.iunno. I don’t think the game is advocating violence against anyone, just giving you the option. It’s the gamer’s choice to commit these crimes, not the game’s.
